Urwerk UR-202

The Urwerk UR-202 is a timepiece that stands out from the crowd and represents the best in modern day horology. Available in red gold, white gold, black PE-CVD platinum and ALTiN steel, the UR-202 is the first wristwatch in the world to feature an innovative new winding system that is regulated by compressing air utilizing miniature turbines.

The automatic caliber UR 7.02 movement features a patented revolving satellite complication with integral telescopic minutes hands, moon phase indicator, and a day/night indicator. Time on the Urwerk UR-202 is displayed using telescopic minute hands which operate through the middle of three orbiting and revolving hour satellites.

The minute hands precisely adjust their length to follow the three vectors marking the minutes: 0 -14, 15 – 44, 45 – 60. Extended, they enable the UR-202 to display the time across the easily read dial. When the minute hands are retracted, they allow for a very wearable and comfortably sized case.
