Sinn U2 S EZM 5

The Sinn U2 S EZM 5 is housed in a 44mm black PVD case and comes on a rubber diving strap. The case is 15.4mm thick and the watch is water resistant to 2,000 meters.

Sinn’s U2 S EZM5 features a full Tegimented construction and is made from the same steel used for the outer hull of submarines (ten times harder than standard steel). As a result, the watch is extremely resistant to corrosion, scratches, magnetism, and any other types of potential damage to the case.

The U2 S EZM 5 was built to the standards of German special forces. It features a double coated, 4.6mm thick anti-reflective sapphire crystal, double Viton seals, Sinn special oil for operation in extreme temperatures, two Sinn copper sulphate capsules to absorb moisture and humidity, inert gasses which have been inserted into the case to promote a dry and stable environment, and a bezel which is screwed to the case.

The Sinn U2 S EZM 5 has an automatic movement which operates at 28,800 beats per hour. The movement is shockproof according to DIN 8308 specs and anti-magnetic according to DIN 8309 specs. It operates in temperatures between -45° Celsius to +80° Celsius due to the use of special lubricants in the movement. A second time zone is indicated by a red tipped hour hand.
