Sinn U1000 EZM 6

Sinn U1000 EZM 6

The Sinn U1000 EZM 6 is housed in a Tegimented steel case that measures 44mm by 18mm. This diving watch is a favorite amount Sinn enthusiasts and is water resistant to 1,000 meters.

The Sinn U1000 EZM 6 case is constructed from the same steel used on the outer hull of submarines. This steel was procured by Sinn from a steel supplier to Emden GmbH, one of Germany’s North Sea shipbuilding yards who construct submarines. The U1000’s case is extremely resistant to sea water corrosion and also protects the movement from becoming magnetized.

Sinn used a Valjoux 7750 base movement in the U1000 EZM 6. They modified the movement to create their SZ-02 caliber via a redesigned minute register which counts 60 minutes as opposed to 30. Sinn also used a special oil to lubricate the movement and it allows for a wider range of operating temperatures.

Purchased recently and could not be more pleased.
I have a number of tool watches and this is easily the one I consider the best.
If you want a ’serious’ watch, you will not be disappointed.
