Officine Panerai’s PAM 80 watch was produced in 2001 (160 units) as a special edition.
The Panerai 80 (PAM 00080) features a hand-wound mechanical Chezard caliber 7400 movement with 11½ lignes, 21 jewels, Glucydur screw balance with flat balance spring 18,000 alternations/hour, Incabloc anti-shock device, and a 40 hour power reserve.
The PAM80 is housed in an 18ct white gold 42mm Radiomir case and displays hours, minutes, and jumping seconds.
Sapphire crystal is used for the see-through display back and features a special magnifying lens which allows the jumping seconds mechanism to be seen. 1.5mm thick sapphire crystal is used to cover the blue dial and it’s treated with an anti-reflective coating.
The Panerai PAM 80 is water resistant to 100 meters and was provided with an alligator strap and white gold Panerai buckle.

You are certainly a PAM man. What I love about the PAM 80 is the magnifier lens on the case back over the movement. Of course a subtle element, but a detail that enhances the appreciation for the movement.
Guilty as charged Ariel!
