Panerai’s PAM 78 (PAM 00078) is a special edition watch released by OP in 2001. There were 75 units of the 42mm 18ct white gold Radiomir created and it was delivered with an alligator strap.
The PAM78’s hand-wound mechanical 1970’s Omega 920 movement features 10 lignes, 17 jewels, and is completely hand finished. It has an annular beryllium bronze anti-magnetic balance with flat balance spring, 21,600 alternations/hour, Incabloc anti-shock device, and a power reserve of 40 hours.
The Panerai 78 functions include hours, minutes, seconds, date, seconds counter, and a tachymeter scale.
Sapphire crystal is used as for the display back and water resistance is rated at 100 meters.
