
New for 2009 is the Panerai PAM 332, a gorgeous special edition watch which is housed in a stealthy, black DLC treated 1950 Luminor case. There will be a total of 500 pieces released.
Panerai equipped the PAM332 with an automatic mechanical OP XVIII calibre movement featuring 31 jewels and 13 1/4 lignes. The movement produces 28,800 alternations per hour and includes a Glucydur balance and Incabloc anti-shock device.
The functions included with the Panerai PAM00332 are:
- Hours
- Minutes
- Small seconds
- Split seconds chronograph (with 2 counters)
- Tachymeter
The Panerai 332 features a solid, DLC’d screw down caseback and a 2 mm thick sapphire crystal over the dial. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters and the watch includes a matching black leather strap complete with a DLC’d steel buckle.
