The Panerai PAM 203 is considered by most passionate Paneristi as one of the ultimate grail watches. The PAM203 is a special edition watch from the 2005 lineup, and there were 150 pieces issued.
So what makes Panerai’s PAM00203 such a special timepiece? Several things actually…
For one, the movement that Panerai chose for this limited edition piece is extremely cool. It is a vintage, hand wound Angelus SF 240 movement with 16 lignes, 15 jewels, 18,000 alternations/hour, Incabloc anti-shock device, and a power reserve of 192 hours.
The Panerai 203 is housed in a beautiful, stainless steel 47mm 1950 Luminor case. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters and displays hours, minutes, and seconds.
The stunning domed sapphire crystal is made from corundum and 2 mm thick. It is treated with a special anti-reflective coating. The watch also features a see through sapphire crystal display back.
The 203’s sandwich dial is a gorgeous tobacco color and the lower level is coated with a thin layer of Super Luminova.
The watch comes with a leather strap, steel screwdriver, and a second interchangeable strap.
