
The Panerai PAM 156 is a special edition watch issued by Officine Panerai in 2002. There are 300 PAM156’s in all.The Panerai 156 (PAM 00156) features an alligator strap and a 44mm, AISI 316L polished steel Luminor case. Water resistance is rated at 300 meters.
Panerai used an automatic automatic Panerai OP VIII calibre movement with 13¼ lignes, 21 jewels, and a Glucydur balance making 28,800 alternations/hour. The movement also features an Incabloc anti-shock device, 42 hour power reserve, a C.O.S.C. chronometer certificate, and Panerai personalized bridges and oscillating weight.
The functions displayed by the PAM 156 include hours, minutes, small seconds, date, and second time zone. The second time zone is indicated on the circumference, the small seconds at 9 o’clock, and the date at 3 o’clock.
The solid case back is made of stainless steel and engraved with Laureus markings. 3.5mm thick sapphire crystal provides cover for the black dial, and it includes an anti-reflective coating and a date magnifying bubble at 3 o’clock.
