The Hublot Bullet Bang has been one of the most well-received watches at Basel from Hublot collectors. With the Bullet Bang, Hublot combines striking good looks and robustness in one great package.
At first glance, the Bullet Bang appears to be a gold model. However, Hublot used a brand new material for the Bullet Bang’s case and bezel which is extra-durable and completely scratch resistant. This alloy of ceramic and metals such as tungsten or bronze provides the great looking gold color, which contrasts nicely with the rubber strap.
The limited edition watch (500 pieces) is housed in a 44mm case with 6 titanium H-shaped screws. The sapphire crystal is treated with an anti-reflection coating and the bezel lug and lateral inserts are made from a black composite resin. Crown is made of black PVD steel with a black rubber insert and the watch is water resistant to 100 meters.
For the Bullet Bang, Hublot used the calibre HUB44 RAC which is an automatic column-wheel chronograph movement. The movement features:
- 37 rubies
- 278 components
- Polished bridges
- Black PVD screws
- Tungsten carbide oscillating weight with dimpled surface coated with black PVD
- Barrel With reinforced spring
- Glucydur balance spring
- 42 hour power reserve
