The Panerai PAM 233 (PAM 00233) is the first watch offered by Officine Panerai with an in-house movement. It is a GMT model offered in a stainless steel case.

The Panerai 233 is housed in a 44mm stainless steel 1950’s Luminor case. The watch case is brushed with an offsetting polished bezel and a gorgeous domed sapphire crystal.

The hand-wound mechanical, Panerai Calibre P.2002/1 movement is completely manufactured by Panerai. Here are the specs:

• 13¾ lignes
• 6.6 thick
• 21 jewels, 8-day power reserve
• 3 spring barrels
• Glucydur balance
• 28,800 alternations/hour (4 Hz)
• KIF Parechoc anti-shock device

The PAM233 functions include hours, minutes, seconds, date, second time zone, 24h indicator, horizontal power reserve indicator, and second reset. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters.

The PAM 233 features a see through, sapphire crystal display back and is supplied with a calf strap.

The Panerai PAM 232 is the brother of the “Cali”, or PAM 249. Officine Panerai released the PAM00232 as a 2006 special edition watch, and there were 1938 232’s created in all.The Panerai 232 is a 47mm watch which is housed in a stainless steel Radiomir case. It features a gorgeous tobacco dial with stunning gold hands. The 232 is a great representation of what many feel Panerai is all about… big watches with clean, easy to read dials and classic styling.

Panerai used a hand-wound mechanical, Panerai OP X calibre movement in the 232:

• 17 jewels
• Glucydur balance with Nivarox I spring
• 21,600 alternations/hour
• Incabloc anti-shock device
• 56 hour power reserve
• Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges

The PAM232’s sandwich dial is covered by a 1.9mm thick sapphire crystal (treated with an anti-reflective coating) and displays hours and minutes only. The solid case back is made of stainless steel and the watch is water resistant to 100 meters.

Panerai used a leather strap for the 232, however it is of surprisingly poor quality.

The Panerai PAM 107 (PAM 00107) was a special edition watch offered by OP in 2001. There were 500 PAM107’s created at that time.The Panerai 107 is housed in a 44mm, AISI 316L polished stainless steel luminor case with Panerai’s patented locking crown protection device. The watch is water resistant to 300 meters and delivered with a rubber strap.

The automatic Panerai OP III calibre movement features 13¼ lignes, 21 jewels, and a power reserve of 42 hours. Both the oscillating weight and the bridges are personalized by Panerai and the PAM 107 comes with a C.O.S.C. chronometer certificate.

The dial is protected by a 3.5 mm thick sapphire crystal with a date magnifying lens at 3 o’clock. The crystal is coated with an anti-reflective coating.

In addition to the date at 3 o’clock, the dial also displays the hours, minutes, and small seconds at 9 o’clock. It also features a “Regatta 2001″ marking at 6 o’clock.

The Ulysse Nardin Perpetual Ludovico Limited Edition (Ref. 330-40LE) is an extremely attractive special edition watch that was released in 250 units.

The Perpetual Ludovico Limited Edition is housed in an 18 ct. white gold case with the dimensions of 38mm x 43mm. The stunning blue dial is matched beautifully by a blue leather strap.

The UN-33 mechanical movement is used, producing a power reserve of 42 hours.

Sapphire crystal is used for the UN Perpetual Ludovico Limited Edition watch and it is water resistant to 50 meters.

Officine Panerai’s PAM 77 was a very limited edition watch rolled out in 2000. There were only 2 PAM 00077 special edition watches made.The Panerai 77 tourbillon was housed in a 42mm platinum Radiomir case, and the hand-wound mechanical Girard-Perregaux 9907 calibre movement specs are:

• 20 jewels
• Glucydur balance with Breguet overcoil
• 21,600 alternations/hour
• Hand-finished
• Incabloc anti-shock system
• 75 hour power reserve
• Three brushed rose gold bridges

The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal and water resistance is rated at 100 meters.
